Overcast and cool again this morning as we bid farewell to Beth and our pleasant little B& B and headed into Margaret River for a wander and a coffee. Time to explore the Margaret River in a bit more depth so left Bridgewater about 9ish and returned back up Caves Road towards Yallingup, turning off on Wyadup Road to the highly recommended Injidup Point and Beach. Awesome view of and amazingly turbulent sea and coastline. Apparently great swimming particularly up past the Injidup Spa Resort perched on the cliff side. Far too cool and windy for us! A rainy miserable morning in Bunbury. Drove to nearby Woolies for brekkie supplies and bits and by 10 ish were driving around checking out the town . Pleasant enough - just a shame weather not great. Found it's renowned lighthouse (black and white checked!) and a spiral lookout tower provided great views though unfortunately just too windy to get all the way to the top! Up for a wander around the little seaside backwater of Cervantes - certainly not a great deal to see. Grabbed some fruit and yoghurt at the general store for brekkie and were on the road heading back south before 9.30am - a big driving day ahead. Slept like logs - woke at 8am to the phone ringing ! Glorious day of sunshine so headed straight down to North Beach, a short distance from the motel entrance. The beach was quite rocky, though didn't seem to deter the surfers nearby. Enjoyed this area plus Ada Beach and Waterman's Bay.
