Next stop La Paz.. the worlds highest capital city though technically is not the capital of Bolivia but it is the seat of power. We stayed here for just 2 nights in a party hostel where I discovered that I am properly old since the disgusting bathroom facilities and other childlike inmates conspired to drive me up the wall. We did however have a couple of very nice meals - one from south americas best (and only as far as I have seen) indian resturant. And we did meet some very friendly people, Kirsty, Matt, Jason and Elise who were ab fab and we spent most of the time in La Paz with.
We also cycled the death road! Yup me on a bicycle... now I don´t mind tellin ya that I almost chickened out of that one, still having a few breathing issues on the odd occasion and having not been on a bike in about 15years it didn´t seem like a smart move but with the assistance of some peer pressure (I´ve told you about me and peer pressure before) and some supportive friends I was reminded that me and the ´smart move´haven´t been on talking terms in a while .. so away we went.. and I am clearly still alive (mwahahaha) and while I probably wouldn´t do it again I am glad I did it once!!
Once again time was up.. and we´re off to Salar de Uyuni! TOUR!!
