Goliver's Travels

It's just a few days now until me and my trusted friend of the Shire Mr Joshua Wardle leave for our much anticipated trip to Rome. We will be departing the rain drenched, mysterious lands of England for 5 days of random, awkward, and possibly, we will have no idea what's going on for the majority of the excursion, times. I thought I would write down our happenings and encounters for you to read over and hopefully spill a giggle of laughter at our possible expense, whether that be physical or mental. Io non parlo italiano!

It's my dream to travel, much like allot of other people on the planet but so far it's been a monumental failure. I have been on plenty of holidays mind you; short term breaks to cities around Europe and America but never that real back packing experience! I mean talking months out, living by my own means and really enriching myself in cultures and traditions from around the world. That is what I'm aiming for but for now I'll settle with Josh and the wondrous city of Rome.

Josh and I have been away together before and it was an experience I have to say. We decided upon Amsterdam for that trip, obvious reasons and no that doesn't involve window shopping and red lights, having a girlfriend at the time hindered me useless in that field. Well that trip included getting chased for happy pills, being locked inside a Games Workshop and loosing ourselves trying to find Anne Frank! Oh and I always forget to mention, it was Gay Pride week! We met some interesting souls.

With all that in mind I am very much looking forward to this small adventure so I guess I'll have to get packing. I hope you keep posted as there will be an array of pictures, videos and awkward situations for you to mull over and lighten your day.
