The drive up to Tries-Karden was perfectly picturesque German countryside. It was wolkig, as usual, but we drove through tiny towns that were built around the year 1500 and they were so cool! And when we were driving between towns there were all kinds of couples and families walking across the countryside between towns. Those Germans love to walk. They also love to eat sausage and fried pork, so I guess it kind of evens out?
