Stopped at a beach around mid day and both dipped our toes in the South Pacific . Deserted Beach opposite White Island which looked very active from the smoke billowing out the top .

Went back in search of the specs, sadly couldn't be found so will have to replace when we get home. On way to next site we stopped at a shopping mall and purchased some reading ones over the counter.

After meal we were all driven back down to the thermal area to witness the geezer exploding , which managed to soak us all before we set off back to the campsite. Lovely evening both enjoyed it very much. PS David lost his specs !!

Maori Evening At Te Puia, New Zealand

4pm pick up and driven to Te Puia traditional Maori village. Our chief was Cerigan, wife Claire. Heard about the tradition and history, followed the tradition then thermal activity. Visited the Kiwi house and actually saw a living Kiwi . This was special to the whole group. Later the show , see Dave doing the Haka.
