After all the trecking we headed to Mancora, which is at the northern tip of Peru. its meant to be good surfing so the idea was to chill on the beach for a couple days and learn to surf..... unfortunitely this isn't exacdtly what happened. Night bus, night bus, night bus... the only way to travel! We arrived at Ica around 6am and took a taxi straight to the small town of Huacachina. It's a small oasis town surrounded by huge sand dunes. The main attraction of the town is effcetively a V8 engine strapped to a roll cage. Its been a busy first week of travels! The 3 flights to get here were very uneventful thankfully, after all the drama of volcanic ash and BA strikes everything went to plan and I arrived in Cusco.
