Thanks for all of the interesting stories of your adventures and hard work in Ethiopia. Those kiddo's are very fortunate to have you there to help them. I hope that you're successfulin your efforts to reunite brothers and sisters from the various orphanages. A very noble and necessary goal. Imagine . . . zero downside, total plus.
I'm watching the Red Sox - Angels Game 4 being televised from Fenway, tied 2-2 in the 9th. Go Boston!
Alex (t B) has I'm sure kept you posted on the disappointing Ducks' season. I think that they fell apart without you in the stands. Maybe next year.
Theresa was here this weekend for Kysa's wedding. She had a great time and it's always a treat to be with her. Your Mom and I went to our neighbors', Mike and Wendy's, wedding at the Heathman. It was a beautiful traditional Jewish ceremony, followed by great food and music. We had a blast, and even danced a few times (every dance until we were asked to leave.)
(Newsflash: Red Sox WIN!!! - Red Sox WIN!!!)
Your Mom and I are going to SD for a week, leaving Friday night, and looking forward to seeing the pals and relatives. It just started raining here, so the sun and beach should be pretty sweet.
I'll be in touch. Thanks for the updates and keep up the great work.
Love, Marty

Hi!!!! I didn't know your blog was working until Cathy txted me today and told me she read it! I can't believe you got lice! Remember how afraid we were to get lice in grade school. I'm sure! Lice is the least of your worries there, I'm sure.
I'll write you an e-mail after work, but we'll see. You probably have better Internet service in Ethiopia than I do in my apartment.
Why is there a math equation in the corner? Miss you!
