Finally arrived in London
That really is a long flight, looked longingly at the business and first class seats but alas I was ushered through!!
Georgina McGuiness on the same flight (not cattle class)
Journey pretty good overall however maybe some maintenance issues though, air conditioning leaking over the people in front of us a huge to do as no other seats available then a funny noise and no lights in 1st class ( my heart bleeds) and the seat police behind us!
A fat family that clearly should pay for bigger seats and room! Kept telling us to put seats forward when we were supposed to be sleeping. The lovely daddy of the family a man I am sure close to 60 and so big he filled up his entire allocated space actually kicked and banged on the back of the seat of the poor woman next to us. She had to stand her ground and tell him that she had every right to lay her seat back during the flight. I told him he was being very rude and childish. Must admit he stopped his carry on a bit!
My take on it if big people fly they need to be aware of limited space issues and be aware they will experience discomfort if they cant cope either pay for business or first class to avoid discomfort or don't fly!
The airlines maybe should advise about this !
Have spent today trying to stay awake, sorting out phones and travel-cards, met up with Kate and then went to Camden town, wow what a hot spot for all sorts of stalls, food, bars, colourful character and just a great atmosphere. Margaret picked us up and then we were in peak hour morning traffic so took a while to get to her place, she us in great form busy at work as they wind down for summer hols
What a gorgeous house she has like a Laura Ashley dolls house! Lucky Leah and I luxury plus!!
