won silver last year. Is gonna be a challenge to Plushenko for Gold medal next year at olympics. A little history behind it.... Plushenko grew up in Russia with a big rival: Alexei Yagudin. They originally had the same coach. But then Yagudin moved to the US to train. At 2002 Olympics it was very close but Yagudin got gold, Plushenko silver. Yagudin went professional (out of all competitions) so thats left Plushenko. Consequently hes won the last few years at Worlds (bar this year) and looks set to win gold Turin next year. However, the twist is that Joubert has very similar skating to Yagudin, same build as well. Anyway Yagudin is now partly coaching Joubert! Olympics will be great!
