all Egyptian teens wanted to talk to dad and I as we were clearly foreign and could speak English. This was especially clear in Alexandria as there are far less tourists there than in Cairo. They really wanted to write to me so I gave them my address. I'll probably get dozens of letters in Arabic soon :)
