Hello!!
cheating i know as i'm back in britain now and not still travelling but i figured a 20 miles wonder around the oxfordshire cotswolds deserved a mention!!
The Ribbon Walk, 20 miles, 28 degrees and so far over £800 raised for Breast Cancer Care!! A crazy idea back in january (mine as i was reminded on more than one occassion on saturday) when june seemed an age away and 20 miles sounded like a lovely walk in the park, excuse the pun!
Well our training seemed to involve a lot of texting and emailing between the 3 of us describing our nights out or take outs we'd had that week so maybe the blisters and sore legs were to be expected really?!
But having not seen Col in over a year the 20 miles did on the whole fly, although i've no idea what the poor women that were walking around us at points thought of the somewhat crazy conversations? question: when walking along texting have you ever thought you resembled dr spock in star trek using his tricorder?? No? see Col its just not normal!!!
And beck and I have to admit we did go a tad crazy the day before on bits to take with us, just to let you know anyone planning on climbing everest in near future we have loads of isotonic tablets things and energy gels!!! What can i say we get easily carried away!! mental note though bananas explode when placed in backpacks at 28 degrees! hmm nice!!
anyway we made it and raised a whole heap of lovely cash along the way so thanks everyone that sponsored us! and thanks to my 2 gorgeous walking buddies we definetly had a well deserved drink later on (and thankfully no pictures of that!!)
love you all xx

Maechelle because the ghost adventures and most htuaned people travel to differant places. and it also gives people a better ghost show than that stupid ghost hunters show on syfy.
