Week 5 in Sirutar!.....The week of Teej Festival On Monday we visited Maiti Nepal along with Lamatar (The other group of volunteers in Nepal ). The place was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. Week 4 in Sirutar! :) What a week eh guys :) This week we didn't get much work done because of the events that were planned for during the week and again because of the damn rain. Week 3 in Sirutar! :) Workwise this week we continued to mix sand, gravel and water to make concrete which was laid down over the cobbled floor we made from bricks last week. You wouldn't believe how relaxing making cement is, especially when you add the water. Its like making a volcano. Week 2 in Sirutar! :) We got alot of work done this week on the project site. We began with clearing ALOT of wood from the school building site, which took us about a day and a half. While I was doing this two local school children came up to me and asked for a hand shake and then kissed my hand. I was like awww.
