The journey from Udaipur to Mount Abu was a nightmare from the start. It was an early start and i wasn't feeling too well anyway. Udaipur described as one of the most romantic cities in India because of it's Lake Palaces and hilly setting, sounds like just the place for a James Bond movie if they had'nt already done it. The locals are very proud of this heritage so much so that every night in every resturant at 7pm they show Octop**** and of course we watched it like everyone else. Only a short stop in Jodhpur to see the main sight and spend Matthew's birthday without being on the move. We took a recommendation from the hotel in Jaisalmer on where to stay in Jodhpur.
