Well we are back in bangkok now, we have been in Laos for two weeks, Vang vieng and Luang Prabang. We tubed down the Meekong, dined at Happy pizza, and rode a bike and walked through dark caves. We refused took tooks then tried to find one then ate french food in Luang Prabang, like a time warp stepping back a good number of years. We rode elephants and looked at wats and were very very hot and gave money to people without any and offerings to monks that cost us a mint. We were ripped of and over fed and had a wonderful time.
Next came Chang mai for a few days of smog and night bizzare markets, and many high speed took took rides. Then onto Pai for a slow week and a bit in the land of gypsys and way too many musicans. Resting and running from over friendly rastafarians, drinking beer and eating fish then vomiting that fish up for a few days. To recover again and set off on a hill tribe trek, where we were stared at and fed a feast of slaughtered swine for the good of the crops/ and (farrang)foreigner - tribal relations. Then a sleeper train back to Bangkok a little over budget and overwhelmed by a big city.
