Ah this is the life - living it up with the showbiz set here in Hollywood itself!
Well, thats the story that myself and Jammo wish to go with at this stage, and we are trying our best on our now very small budget to do it all, and to do it with style! We arrived here in the USA after a long flight, and an even longer stay in LAX waiting for baggage and to gain entry to the country itself. A taxi ride to our hotel on Sunset Boulevard look over an hour, and treated us to our first taste of "OH..... MY ..... GAWD.... You're from ENGERLAND!!!! Our Hotel has provided us with some nice sanctuary for a few days, as we get used to being a da
Survival is the key here I think. The city itself is simply too big to even contemplate fully - and we decided to stick to what we know and where we know. So where we knew was hollywood, and the walk of fame. And what we knew, was beer. The walk itself was good fun - althought I was disapointed to find the likes of Marlon Brando having to put up with a star down a side street, and the Olsen sisters getting one right infront of the home of the Oscars at the kodak theatre!
My indignation aside, we had fun - walking around looking for stars - and then also matching our hand prints to those the stars have left outside Manns Chinese theatre - Mine being a perfect fit with Dick Van Dyke - I cant believe they have to star those 2 words out......
I am currently fighting hard my growing addiction to fast food - its easy to see why its such a problem here, its just so cheap and so easy to get - you cannot go a block without seeing somewhere for food!
Next is a greater temptation - the gambling neon metropolis that is Las Vegas - i will update again soon to see how we survive this one!
