New York New York!!!
Well I am writing this retrospectively as there was so much going on while I was there I had problems finding the time to do everything I wanted, let alone sit down chill out and then recollect what I had done recently, so apologies if I miss anything off or am a bit short...but it is 04:30 on Nov 11th and I am sitting in the airport having been up for 20 hours now.
Annabelle was working during the week, so me and Tom wondered around doing the touristy stuff in the days.
Arrived early at Heathrow T5, and myself and Tom waited for our plane to Newark, upon arriving after a long flight we managed to be slow off the plane, take the longest time to get through customs, and then queue to leave, and then queue to get a cab and finally queue while in the cab, which was driven by the most miserable guy ever! We let ourselves into Annabelle's, freshen up a bit and then headed out. We met Annabelle round the corner from her office, and I'm pretty sure she ran the whole way to see us as she was out of breathe.
We wondered around for a bit, grabbed a coffee and then she went back to work and me and Tom went to Times Square with 'crap cam' the cheap digi cam I bought that has a casing to allow underwater photos to be taken.
In the evening we went to Spice a Thai restaurant, which was pretty good, and then over to greenwhich village to a bar, adn then to Cafe Wha?, which has a live house band that plays each Wed and Sun. They were really great, and each member of the group did a few songs which was an interesting way for this to occur, as it meant there was so many different songs and styles. After a few (more then I can remember)beers we headed back to Annabelle's, where a glass was smashed and cut Bellas foot pretty badly, clearing up the blood, and putting my travel first aid bag to good use we finally went to sleep after a good 24 hours or more awake.
