Happy New Year to you both across the other side of the world! We raised our glasses to you both on New Year's Eve wishing you a great 2007, which looks good just after a few weeks. New Zealand looks fantastic, the views from Sky Tower are amazing, good to see it in your photo's because I don't think I would've been able to look!! A tent Dee!, I was waiting for the photo's as evidence, I don't think I've every stayed in a tent with an en-suite!! You both look so relaxed and enjoying the experience so much that I don't think it would matter what you're staying in. Keep having a great time, we miss you lots and look forward to hearing your next adventure. Take care love Becky, Matt, Ella and Grace xxxx

Just seen your photos. Great beaches...and wonderful scenery. It must have been fun to sit in hot water on the beach!
It looks like you've picked yourself up a bargain with your first home there...two proud owners standing outside. Very colonial looking....and the house. Enjoy every minute of your time in those far off places. You're both stars!! Does it feel like your almost home Gary? Is it good to see the water spiralling the other way down the plughole Dee? Have you done any snorkelling yet?
Have fun and take care.

Happy New Year, what a blast you are having, we got to vancouver and had 5 days there in all before coming back, no problem with the standby flights, had a great time, it really is worth the visit, maybe you can come back that way once you get all the way round and to france you can work your way back again huh!!!!. Keep enjoying and so want to see the photos of Dee in the tent, "Happy Camping" Hi Dee Hi
Caroline And Lee
Happy New year to you both........ahhhh the dreaded tents, I hope it gets easier for you, 2 an arf hours!!!!!!!!!!........blimey Gary that even beats Lees record.
New Zealand though....... wow, so glad your enjoying yourselves there, it truly is a beautiful country, we cant wait to hear what you both think of the South Island too, its like another country and even more spectacular. Im sure your finding your way around fine but when you get to Napier me and Lee would like to give you a little pointer.
We use to find it was nice to break it up a bit and stay in hostels etc now and then, if your looking for something a little different try Napier Prison Backpacker..........one of our best stays in NZ.......its an old Prison thats now been converted into a Backpackers it was only decommissioned in 1993 its pretty spooky though Dee so you might need Gary to hold ya hand at night but its such an experience, you sleep in the old creaky cells, its great fun. Heres the website anyway - www.napierprison.com Gary youll love it!!!! Its right up your street!!!
Anyway as for us - we are fine, finding it even harder being home now we are into the new year - new start - new life etc and all that normal stuff. I have a really good job selling holidays to OZ and NZ, i like it but im finding it hard having the 9-5 life again and not feeling like the young free spirits that we once were only months ago. As for Lee he is working back a GSK and definatly not feeling the young free spirit that he once was......He turned 30 on new years eve.........!!!!!!
Well thank you for your lovely email, carry on enjoying yourselves and please keep us up to date with your wonderful stories, its like us living it all over again, which i think we need at the moment.
Take Care lots of love Caroline and Lee xxx (Sorry its a bit long I got carried away thinking it was our website, if only!!!!!)
