Hi Possums
It looks wonderful. Such a tonic after a damp, dreary day here to log on and find out what you're up to. Sun birds ... oh wow! You really won't want to come back.
Loads of love xxxx
Mum

Hello there - Well this is more like it. Oh joy - water at last!!
Looks like you are a having a wonderful time now. So much wildlife and trees that aren't burnt to a crisp. Keep Gareth away from the crocs. I know how much he likes to have things crawl on his arm - but these might eat him. You both look fabulous by the way. Happy exploring.
Love Mum xx

Hi Both
Delighted to see you have arrived safely in Cairns-- but you still seem to be sending pictures of BUGS!!!. There doesnt seem to be many people around ( apart from the random person!!)-- is it really that quiet or is it -- what do they say about mad dogs and..... going out in the sun!!-- keep cool!- have a good time in Townsville.
Its now about to start geting a bit cooler in the Uk--so have you got your thermals ready in the car???
Look forward to the next update.

Hi both of you.
Oh dear - you remind me of your Dad having to try out casualty wherever you go!! The whole experience sounds very Oz! Hope you are OK.
The photos look so hot! Dad thought you would be thrilled when you saw those black clouds - did it rain? I don't suppose so. Hope you enjoy Cairns - you'll need a coat after the desert heat as it's only 31C.
Loads of love. Mum and Dad xxxx
Hey! I'm fine and no it didn't rain! However, it has poured in Cairns today while we were trekking in the rainforest! Awesome! One of the highlights. Saw buff breated paradise kingfishers in the rainforest - look them up, they're amazing!
Hope you're both ok x
Mum
Alisha--are you Ok?----not a very nice experience!!!!Hope you had a good evening at Bojangles!!!
Have a good flight to Cairns!!

Ha ha! I'm fine. It was a bit scary because I didn't know if it was one of those things that lays its eggs in your ear that then hatch and burrow into your brain. But once i left hospital, it was quite funny :)

Are you still in Alice?

Well - you do know how to live dangerously don't you? - camping out in the wild and walking around in blistering heat which would kill lesser mortals. Keep on living the dream and we look forward to next update.

It's lovely and cold here - with frost.

Great to hear from you again. Love your photos - they are wonderful. This really is (another) Trip of a Lifetime. Dad says if he wins the Lottery he's getting a flight out. Beth says she can just imagine your faces if you go outside one morning and there is your Dad!!!!! (oh no.....)!
