Got a bus to Pokhara from Kathmandu, which went through mountains and valleys along Nepal's centre. We didn't see too many bus crashes along the way, certainly none that looked fatal.
During a moment of pure insanity we decided to go paragliding off Sarangkot hill in Pokhara. The views from the air (around 2000m from sea level) were fantastic and the paraglider pilots used the Eagles and Vultures circling over the valley as guides to the thermals, so we were essentially soaring around with these enormous birds of prey.
The landing was surprisingly smooth, although the landing strip was actually a main road!
