Just again to say, I do sadly check this every day, because it really makes my day everytime I read a new blog entry, it's a major plus in our schedule and even my mum is starting to ask me if a new one is up yet (her finding them hilarious too).
Thank you very much and eagerly awaiting the next blog!

Just looked at the map of your journey, alarmed to see the after endless miles of what looks like brocolli with absolutely no roads or civilisation, your destination appears to be in the middle of the sea! No wonder all your clothes came back damp.
Sounds like a pretty long long uncomfortable journey - don't ever moan about having to get the train to Sawbridgewrth again!
Looking forwards to seeing the pictures.
Missing you

the blog sounds awesome, im waiting with baited breath to see how the turtles work themselves into the plot. i also love how the passport update is essentially: there is no update.

""doofus""
Chris, I so did not give you the wrong number you just can't work the phone properly! haha xx
Anyways, I love the fact you got through to a sleepy Mexican. What a lolling mistake. Anyway I have the next update to the passport episode! We had to scrounge, yet again, for taxi money from the hostel to get to the damn embassy for our scheduled appointment to get my identification back. But when we got there, and after Emily read out her Spanish translation to explain my frustrating yet intensely ridiculous problem, this insanely tall and very very smiley man pointed to a crappy word document ‘’sign’’ on a lonely message board, explaining how the British embassy was closed for what looked like a made up holiday that no one else anywhere in Costa Rica had even heard of. What a stroke of luck! In the end, after an angry yet brilliant conversation between Emily and I about how getting a microchip passport or inventing a passport dispensing machine would be a hell of a lot easier, we just went back to the mall and ate veggie burgers, which were amaze. O and I bought a necklace of a pink turtle and em bought 2 bracelets. That made our day *smiley face*
Right now, Emily is furiously typing away next to me writing the next installment to our journey. Watch this space! *cool*

A Shadow Of My Former Self
Ok guys, here´s the deal. After about half my life spent sitting at a computer in Casa Yoses to try and upload photos, hoggin it profusely and growling at anyone who comes within a 2 metre radius, i have made little progress. The fact that the internet is freezing pretty much every five seconds has only hindered my endeavour, and i feel it´s best to stop now before i either die inside or smash the computer and surrounding area into a malfunctioning pulp. In sum, there are 12 of about 300 photos on a photobucket account, (http://s825.photobucket.com/albums/zz174/ems7frost/Gandoca%20Sea%20Turtle%20Project/) so if ya wanna spend a happy 10 seconds checkin´those out, be my guest. I will try again tomorrow but don´t expect miracles. As for the blog, that´s being worked on tonight, but in note form on paper as i think if i spend one more second on this windows 95 abomination, i´ll either have an anneurism or get forcibly dragged from the hostel and told to take my computer consuming custom elsewhere. Love you xxx

I found some time to finally read the blog. It's sounding pretty darn awesome so far.
Did you end up getting the new passport from the embassy in the end?
Hoping all goes well. Enjoy
