Whoa, so ive been in Koh Tao for 2 weeks now, thats a bit longer than i expected and i means i have no time to get to Koh Samui but i dont care because i LOVE this place. This little island can really make you feel at home and it really can be a struggle to leave. The longer i have been here the harder it has got but i am leaving today so i better fill you all in on whats been happening.
So i get over here and the main idea was to go diving. So i arrive at Simple Life Divers, get my room sorted and go in to do my 1st videos that night. Next morning, same videos before we go out to start the dive exercises the next day. I am going to keep this short because its all a bit samey but lets just say i have done my open water diving course and my advanced diving course and loved every minute of it. The stuff you see down there: trigger fish, stingrays, eels and just the general colours of all the fish are amazing. Even did a night dive, with the phosphorescents (thats probably spelt completely wrong) and seeing barracudas.
And then there was the place and the people. It is so chilled out here. I have stayed in a guesthouse, hostel and bungalow and its cool wherever you are. (The bungalow open right onto the beach by the way). You can go out and party hard but you can also chill out on beanbags on the beach, pretty much next to each other or at the same place, and i havent got bored once.
Then there were the people who have made this even more special. The guys on the dive course were cool, the guys at the dive school were cool and then the guys i hung out with from the dive course were cool. This especially goes out to Katie, Shona, Donna, Mike, Adrian and Kim who i went out with for my first few nights here. Everyone made my time so good, just going out for food and chilling on the beach. I had such a laugh with Katie just chilling on the beach everyday after the diving looking at the stars lol, hopefully we'll catch up again in Aussie. And was good chilling with Mike at the hostel after the course had finished. There was also Gustav who i have now spent time with on Phangan and Tao who just makes every1 laugh and loads of other people, too many to mention (sorry guys if any1 is reading this).
Im starting to stuggle to remember to write anything else now cos to be honest ive mainly just chilled and not done much else, apart from dive, since Mike left. So im going to leave it at that for now, hopefully i will see some of you guys again on my travels, i hope every1 else keeps enjoying their travels, those of you who are, and now i am off to Koh Phi Phi. So until the next time, laters guys.
