We were flying over the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand making our way to Kuala Lumpur earlier, see the attached pic ;-) The flight was good and I am thankful to Coleen (of Air Italia) for having arranged me a seat with enough leg room for me to stretch out ;-) The meals have been really good! Had a Chicken Briyani for Dinner/Breakfast (depending on which time zone you're working in ...) and had a succulent Beef Curry for Lunch! Yummy!!! Managed to catch...

Phew! Made it ... What a surreal cab ride from home!!! The cabbie was rather hardcore in his approach to getting me to Heathrow within the time he guaranteed me he would. Unfortunately, having left home at about 3:40pm and being told that it would take about 56mins to get to the airport, I arrived at 5:07pm, a full 47mins later than quoted! This was probably due to the fact that the cabbie didn't have enough fuel in the car, so we were forced to make a detour...

Well, it's almost like the night before Christmas ... Not a peep in the house, save the TV for a short while until I turn in. My bag(s) is packed and ready to go. I'm not sure I'll get much sleep tonight, the excitement is going to keep me awake, my imagination reeling with visions of what the places I'll be visiting may look like.
