The sheep rancher said the peak with rocks was named 'Tindur', one of the peaks I was trying to find. Well, turns out he was not right. This one is Postulakirkja. Tinder was to the west about a half km. Of course, which rocks are the right ones?

There are a number of lakes in this area. Some are dammed for power generation. There are also a growing number of wind turbines as the wind always blows in the Faroes.

The shortest distance between 2 points is sometimes down a cliff. Made it OK. Going around would have added 4km or 5km. You can see the angled terraces that I used to zig zag down.

This looks like a weather break for the sheep, there were a half dozen in this area.

This hike is different than my prior hikes as there are no trails, you just start walking and follow your nose. Or, in my case, Big Nose. Are you calling me Big Nose? My goal was to hike a ring of peaks to the north of Vestmanna. My hosts, Durita and Frodi, recommended this area as beautiful. They were entirely right.
