Just been snorkeling yesterday on a reef about an hour off the coast of Zanzibar. It was amazing and for someone who is very scared of deep water i think i did well. Am back on the mainand in Dar es Salaam and then next stop is Malawi (known as the warm heart of africa). Love to all, Cesca xx

Hi all,
Just arrived in Zanzibar which is very beautiful, though the rains seem to have followed us. I have posted a new journal entry about the game parks i have visited.
Hope all are well, Love francesca

Hi yes it is me. Long story short both my parents got quite seriously ill, in different ways but at the same time, and after wrestling about what to do eventually decided to go home for couple of weeks and just bung it on the visa card. We have a return flight to Delhi on the 16th March. It's FREEZING here will be glad for warmth. Take care love Tasha

Just back after a week being poorly. Your photos of the children are wonderful - hasten to add no sneaking any back in your baggage however tempting! Your head must be in a spin trying to take all this in. I hope you manage to get some respite from the long drop loos still I suppose it brings you back to earth - 'cuse the pun. x
Francesca
i'm confused !!!! (all too easily) was that Natasha Yeates that posted (apologies if it isn't as i can't think who else it could be). If so what are you doing back in the UK???
If it's someone else i'm sorry for not recalling you....
Francesca
Hi to all,
Have had a packed few days since i last mailed. Have visited the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - all of which were amazing. Also camped on the rim of the Ngorongoro Caldera which was quite chilly but nice. At the moment I am in Dar es Salaam and will go to Zanzibar tomorrow for a day or so in stone town then a well earned break on the beach for a day.
Hope all are keeping well and working hard ! Love Francesca x

Hi Babes
Have just got back to UK for 2 week holiday in Blighty so just logged on to your website for first time. Sounds like you are having some amazing experiences and the photos are incredible. The children look beautiful and the gorillas must have been wonderful.
Take care love Natasha
P.S. Full respect for the primitive bathroom situation and I agree squatting in very uncomfortable gives me leg cramp.

Hope you are enjoying yourself, missing your happy smiling face. Everything here is hunkydory, but I suppose you don't need to know that.

Dear Cesca
Very happy to see your having a good time and enjoying yourself, was really excited looking at all your photos especially the ones of the showers and the bucket baths. I am getting a little more apprehensive about my travels as it is just over a month until i fly out as will be upset to leave all my family and friends, but really excited at the same time. Look forward to meeting up with you in thailand and going for a drink together in the eve and do some sightseeing during the day. Mum and dad really enjoyed reading what you have been up to and looking at your photos. Good luck and all the best on your onward journey.
Take Care
Lots of love your cousin Gemma,
Uncle Bernard and Aunty Fatima xxxxxx

Hi Cesca - your photos are great - you must be having so much fun. Best wishes Joy

Hi Cesca, can't believe how much wildlife you've seen! Even more than the Prince of Wales Road on Saturday night and a thousand times better looking - especially the Giraffes! Take care, Jez X
P.S. Emma says Hi and Hogan wants you to bring back something for him to point at - perhaps a pelican?

More photos uploaded guys and hopefully more to come in the next day if this computer is compliant. Got some of the Gorillas in Nkuringo (Bwindi, Uganda), some of the showers / outdoor bathing facilities i have been using. I'll try to load some of me painting at a school, at the equator etc and some general nice pics of wildlife and local people. Love to all, Francesca xxx
