hi!boxed off the south island now...leaving for the north agian tomo. in christchurch at the mo, nice city...bit like cambridge. we've been busy bees this past week or so....got some good pics to put on tomorrow. really picturesque here, snow-capped mountains galore! quite chilly but perfectly bright glorious days! we've been realy lucky....enjoyed driving around thelma and louise stylee! you can go for hours without seeing a soul. we spent one day climbing Franz Joseph glacier which was hilarious....we were that frozen that we got a bit hysterical towards the end of the day and the guide wasn't too impressed but i seriously thought my toes were going to snap off! was surreal climbing it tho...beautiful.
now, for the day we've all voted the best day of the whole trip.....SKY DIVE! was absolutely fabulous. we did it form 12000ft over lake wanaka. the freefall was 45 seconds and was the most bizarre feeling in the world. that same afternoon we had no fear at all and decided to do a bungy randomly since we were driving through Queenstown. the bugy was actually scarier than the sky dive because you have to throw yourself off...but we all did it although rhian took a fair bit of convicing but its al for one and one for all on this trip so she couldnt get out of it
Other than that we've done a few walks around lakes and mountains inc. Mt cook the tallest mountain in south island. we also did a cruise of the milford sound to see the waterfalls.
absolutely love new zealand. my favourite place so far. of to chile on sunday...6 weeks left. we're trying to learna bit of spanish before we get there to help us out but lets just say we're not exactly fluent....basically learnt numbers one to ten and the odd random word but the intention is there hehe!
must go....ran out of minutes. love y'all xxx
