A surprise find, this cafe. In the middle of an uninspiring shopping complex, it had excellent reviews on Google and Tripadvisor, so we thought we'd give it a go. Checked out of our airbnb and (obviously) went to find coffee in Peregian Beach. A quick paddle for me in the gorgeous sea, before we test out the driving range at Peregian Golf Course. We thwacked 100 balls in the general direction of the markers (plus some extra freebies we found by the tees) for the bargain price of $12 (£6). So for a bakery doing coffee, a very good effort. The muffin we shared was gorge. Warmed up, and served with lemon cream. The flat white itself was a little coarse. Full strength on show, but it was more of an espresso than flat white. Certainly packed a punch!
