Came the perfect temperature and with m&ms(!) which is novel. Lots of tap water available. It has a quaint tea shop vibe - lots of cushions and birdcages, "saw you coming" cast iron decorations, and tastefully peeling painted window frames.We ordered a cup for me, and a mug for Foxy (he is in need of more coffee this morning). Given that these were different sizes, they were remarkably consistent. It's tasty; smooth and creamy texture without being too milky....

This is to be our full day of sunning in Byron Bay, in our slightly expensive holiday park. We began with eggs and baked beans ("English style" baked beans these were, apparently. Not that we could taste the difference). It's a baking hot day even by 10am, totally sapping our energy to do anything more than read in the shade. However, in order to earn our beach slobbing, we plan to visit the lighthouse at Cape Byron, Australia's easternmost point. We stop...

So for a coffee house that is so highly rated, the coffee here veritably bombed. Don't get us wrong, it was completely drinkable, but also completely forgettable. Instead, we were caught spying on other peoples brunches... Perhaps this is what they really come here for. Soft attack with a bitter middle, and strong aftertaste that (thankfully) disappears quickly. Fast water. Slow service.

A creamy, coffee journey in my mouth. Served in a takeaway cup, because we asked for it, but we were impressed by this effort. A good temperature, smooth attack that sustained until the finish. In fact, could criticise it by suggesting that it was actually rather monotone in flavour... Or just too subtle for this palette? AF

So... After a night's rest thinking about it, the car battery had recovered, and Jucy started. Huzzah. However, we both discovered we had been bitten to death by mossies... Al Bal especially so. :-( (she counted 26 on her right leg alone)Having grabbed another free tea from the driver reviver people, we stopped for posh coffee in Brunswick Heads, where we also found a beach area to cook scrambled eggs in the back of the RV and watched a tug of war at the Brun...
