Hi guys - I'm impressed with your adventurous spirit, when in Rome do as the Romans do, and Kiwi's are definitely an adventurous bunch. Hope you manage to do one of the many tramps on the island, it is such an amazing experience walking all day with the fantails flitting past, the wind in the trees and no other humans around. I think the Humpridge track is one of the top 5, with the Heaphey, Mueller hut, welcome flat and stewart island.

Hi Everyone,
It's great to read all your new messages. We both had fantastic birthdays & survived the 12,000 ft free fall. We're now on the South Island & have just spent 4 days in Abel Tasman, 2 of them were on a sea kayaking trip & we even managed to put up our first tent together on the beach without it falling down during the night....
Sorry we haven't uploaded more photos, we're just having to much fun in the sun! The next rainy day we get we'll be indoors and will upload our pics for you all to have a look at.
Take care everyone
Lots of love

Hi Gary & Maria. Your pics look amazing, brings back fond memories! Hope your xmas and new years was fab! I'm fine, got back from edinburgh today, 20 of us went up to my flatmate's parents house 40 miles outside edinburgh. They live in a massive house next to the mountains and overlooking a loch! We spent yesterday in the pub with a band playing bagpipes!!! Keep on having a fantastic time. Lots of love nic xxxxxx

Hi Debs, Pete and Annette,

Hi guys
Nice to hear from you - I've been thinking about you so much since you left, we wondered what you'd think of Sydney - its just another big city really but the people say g'day mate rather than hello, and drink fosters rather than bitter! Did you know that Kola's are so sleepy because Eucaliptus leaves are a mild drug so they are out of it most of the time?
Hope you like the east coast, Brisbane is just another city, but there are lots of cool places along the way up. Sailing round the whitsunday islands is good, Fraser island is a cool trip, and of course the barrier reef is a must. I hated Cairns when I first arrived, but loved it after 3 weeks, if you can get further up than Cairns its well worth the effort but expensive. I made it up to thursday Island by boat, which was really interesting & not many people ever get there.
Hope you meet lots of interesting people along the way, I'm sure you will
Take care, we're thinking of you
