All set to leave Hong Kong and it doesnt seem 5 mins that I arrived. I booked into a better hostel for sat night and met a good few people in the common room, just talking rubbish until the early hours of the morning. Have done some more touristy stuff today though. Went up the tram to "The Peak" and walked down the old windy roads, went to the Zoological and Botonical Gardens on Sat. At night I decided to take the tram from a few MTR stops further down than my hostel right into town. The photos were fantastic. I didn't know that it doesn't go directly to Hong Kong and so ended up these busy side streets fighting my way down to the main roads. Had a good few chats with people in my hostel, one guy had been to North Korea for a few days which sounds like an experience. Not one that I could see myself doing though.
Sunday was just an aimless wander with a few museum trips included and the weather was brilliant, but very hot and humid, before grabbing a beer and heading to the airport.
All in all I've had a absolutely class time here. I never really invisiged myself getting so into the busy Chinese culture here but I loved every minute of it. Forget your stop off to Singapore, Hong Kong is the place to go. Next stop... Australia!
