We found a camp right on the bank where we could easily fish and the kids had some great bush to play in. We also had enough of a clearing to play cricket. For the 3 days we stayed we had no other campers come in so we had the spot to ourselves, it was fantastic. We spent the days doing whatever we felt like and had a fire every night, enjoying watching the moon get bigger each night. We felt like we could have stayed forever, hidden in our own little world, but civilisation called so we headed to Mildura. A fairly large and very beautiful town with a fabulous park and recreation area near the river. We lost count of the houseboats that lined the river on both sides and loved seeing a huge paddle-steamer chuff it's way around the bend of the river where we were able to have a swim. We will hopefully be able to go on one at our next stop, Swan Hill, where we will catch up with Bens aunt.
