While Phil searched Christchurch for his passport I went to see some family friends from our days in New Zealand! Incidentally, Phil did not find his passport and so had to forge one from metal and jam (Eddie Izzard fans know what I mean) - passport control seemed satisfied, although one did say, "it's a bit clangy and a bit jammy".
