Settled into Kochi, an enchanting place with natural beauty, lots of trees and waterways, apart from walking into goats along the road and seeing people on the back of motorbikes carrying a 10 foot square pane of glass, things are pretty normal here. Biggest lesson I've learned so far is don't try to peel a pommegranate with a key, it doesn't work! I must buy a knife.
Took a boat trip through the backwaters of Kerala which was stunning. There are no road rules here and the bus trip back was legendary.
Food very good, porridge in the morning and plenty of choices including potatoes, the simple things make me happy.
Off to the hills in Munnar on Tuesday.
Love and Peace...
