El Camino de la Muerte, The World's Most Dangerous Road, The World's Deadliest Road, The Death Road. Whatever name you prefer they all conjure the same thoughts and suggest the same conclusion. La Paz, the highest major city in the world, actually sits in a valley surrounded by snow capped mountains and big cliffs. We had booked into a hostel called Las Olas in Copacabana. It wasn't the cheapest place on offer but we had a great cabaña to ourselves with a stunning view over the lake and town.
