So now I can say I've been to Dairy Queen! My birthday dinner was a restaurant called Montana's. it's very mountain cabin themed with drinks served in jars and wildlife on the walls. Bret chose this restaurant because on your birthday they announce it to the whole restaurant and then make you wear these giant moose antlers and sing happy birthday. Luckily the waitress forgot so I missed out on wearing them! Next was DQ (Dairy queen) for dessert. We had Oreo Bown...

So this was the next stop to collect the hire car for the big adventure. I got a Chevy Malibu and its a bit scary on the wrong side of the road but I've managed. This statue is out the front "The Bow" the tallest building in Calgary. Right next to the hire car place.

Well today was spent at Heritage park. It's a old historic town. I got To see a real moose head on the wall. It's huge! We also got to see an old printing press working which was really interesting.

Ok so I can now say I've been to Walmart. It's quite different to what I imagined. I guess it's a cross between a supermarket and a big W. they have a McDonalds inside the store! Very odd. But at least I can say I shopped at Walmart

Breakfast of champions! This doughnut shop is next to the hotel and is amazing! I had a maple bacon doughnut (when in Canada right?).
