This is our last day in New Zealand having been here from 14th November to 19th - leaving 20th November for Melbourne.
We had a motorhome but Edwina (as those who know her will appreciate) kindly offered her home to us for our time here. We have had another fantastic few days travelling up and across the North Island of New Zealand. The roads outside Auckland are virtually devoid of traffic - good roads with wonderful scenery. Everyone we spoke to were extremely friendly and eager to tell us what we should see.
Photographs of course don't do justice to the scenery - magnificent sweeps of coast and mountain ranges. Waitomo caves have to be seen to be appreciated with glow worms galore sparkling in a huge black cavern.
Definitely a 'should visit again' - South Island next time.
