Day trip to Byron Bay with our super family!
Loved stopping off at a roadside grocer. Mmm pawpaw, spiky leaf pineapple, strawberries and rock melon!
So many people! Took us a while to find the rest of our family. Should have known they were already at the best rated cafe for breakfast.
Not the friendliest staff, but really good food and coffee. Pancakes, gf French toast and mango and berry smoothies.
I was dragged through all the beautiful little boutique shops and told we were not shopping, but going up to see the lighthouse, hmm, sure, but I WILL be back!
Byron lighthouse is the most eastern point of Australia. Stunning, on the cliff edge, looking out over some of our beautiful coast line. Found Josh's Uncle Garry's recently published book on lighthouses. Lady there was so excited.
Everyone else went back to the resort. We hit the Porto burger shop in a side ally, followed by gelato. Its a bit scary and exciting when your family gets to the size where its cheaper to buy a huge 'take home pack' than to buy individual gelatos! Sat by the beach to eat our creamy goodness, then Daddy and kids played while I hit the shops!!
Back to the resort for Tacos at our place.
