Went to a hot pot restaurant. Basically boil your own food in front of you...... Like I needed more humidity. Ha. But it was good. One of the things I don't like is all there meat looks like bacon...sure doesn't taste like bacon. Boo!

We completed the main part of our teaching yesterday. Hard to believe those three full days went by so quickly. We now end up with a day off because of the pool being required to student swimming exams. The grade 7 kids need to complete a 50m swim (boys 70sec, girls 90sec) in order to move into grade 8. I watched some of them practice yesterday.... And I don't believe some are going to make it. Eek! We are supposed to go to a budist temple today and see a few ...

We got to spend the day on a beautiful island with Buddhist temples. It rained on us most of the time but it was still worth it. We took a 20min ferry ride to get there and spent 4hours on the island. We stopped for lunch on the island and because they serve little meat,if any, we ate vegetarian. Eek! But it was delicious! Starbucks this morning. Fabulous. It's raining hard here so it was a wet walk in the rain. Worth it still, blueberry muffin and coffee. Great start to the day.

Teaching, teaching, teaching. Fun. Exciting. And certainly challenging. Translating the language has come with it's challenges and I find it tough to pause in the middle of a thought. Haha. I prefer to just keep talking and listen to myself. Ha. We have had several long days in classroom and pool and it's left little time for anything else. One more day of that and then the children start coming to swim with us!
