Hi again Greetings from the Andes! I arrived in Cusco early yesterday and was immediately overwhelmed by the altitude. Being 3000 metres up really affects your breathing and makes you feel tired all the time. However I'm starting to become aclimatised now and within a few days I should be fine. Hi everyone After two seven hour flights, a frantic run through Newark airport and a bumpy taxi ride, I'm here in Lima. The city is very nice if a little dirty and polluted. The people are extremely helpful and friendly. Best of all though everything is really cheap! Th weather is pretty sunny and it feels much warmer than it actually is (only about 16 degrees).
