Byron bay was chill:) lots of down to earth people with dreadlocks and surfboards, just enjoying life;) we stayed at nomads the first 2 night, where our room mates were very nice, except 2 girls who decided that 3:30 am was the best time to have a huge fight, scream at the other and slam doors... So not too much sleep the first night;) we went to the beach to park off which was really nice:) then we got moved to the arts factory for the last 4 night, where there were people with guitars singing everywhere, which was really nice;) they had lots of wild water dragons, wild bush turkey and LOTS of mosquitoes, which rather enjoyed my blood;) the arts factory also had a pool, which was nice to cool off in:) our second last day we took the 1-2 hours walk through a very bumpy forest path, which was mostly uphill, up to the lighthouse to see the sunset. The walk was very hot, seeing as the sun vas shining very bright without any clouds, and most of the path involved clumping lots of huge steps. But the walk was beautiful, and it was totally worth it when we got there:) the sunset was beautiful from there, and the view was amazing!:)
