We got up at 5am and was picked up by coach which took us to the harbour, there was no seats left on boat so we had to sit on the tin roof, which was really quite pleasent ... at first we sunbathed as we went past floating villages and waved at lots of little children who were jumping in to the river as we passed Well the 4 hour boatride turned into 6 hours by which time it was so hot we baked , we sat holding are t shirts above our heads for shade. We found a good hotel by the market and went to diner at the "balcany bar" on the river it was very nice appart from the mozi's. W e entertained our selves by watching the geckos feed on them. Next day we booked coach to Bangkok. We had an hourand a half hours to spare so we got two motorbike taxis to take us on a bamboo train, which is a makeshift train that locals put together in order to take goods down the track, there is only one track so a problem occurs when someone comes the other way or even the real train that only comes once a week. They have got very good at dismantling them quickly with the more ladened one wining the argument which was always ours as it had the two motorbikes on it. It was very funny
