Emma Wemma!! Hello from Salisbury.
I loved reading your recent blog, I am so impressed by your confidence in going to a folk and belly dance in you gym. I would have loved to see it!! I was a little confused as to why you didn't mention the main feature of going to spas in your 'spa' section though... I think peeps need to know about the pubic hair!!
I am doing my first teaching next week, mega butterflies! They've given me loads to teach, which has meant I've had to sacrafice not going to the head weekend at kathy's, which is poop. I'm sure one of them will update us soon with some fun and frollicks.
Update from Thailand for you - Lizzie and Pat have been flooded so have moved to chang mai for a while to stay with his parentals. It sounds like quite an adventure was had. I don't know much about it, but will update you when I do. For now though, we know they are safe.
Love you lots and lots xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Carrie
Again you blog has helped me while away the last 1/2 hour at work, I must admit this is not my favourite place atm everybody is feeling very unmotivated and it's rubbed off on me, it seem impossible to make progress.
The need to flee the country is growing ever strong, if only I had the ability to save, I especially don't want to miss the opportunity to see you while you're out there, you may be stuck there for a while before I can afford it though.
On a very happy note we are having a mass head trip to Newton Longville; Kathy's cat is going to be slightly traumatised! We will take lots of sad pictures in memory of you and lizy.
I was going to get life size cardboard cut out of you for will's birthday hehe, but thought he wouldn't appreciate a bowling ball present.
lots of love
Anitra
Fantastic photos Emma. I feel really envious of your travels stuck here in rainy Bath. You obviously are having a great time. It'll pass so quickly keep making the most of it.
Kathy
Lol - graphic gesture haaaaaaaaaaahahaha. Thank goodness the bus arrived!!
And "your friend" "accidently ending up in a Mongolian brothel" - this requires some serious explaining. Is this something about China, or something to do with your new comrades?!
Love hearing all your news Em, its lovely to hear about it all. REALLY miss you, so good catching up. Will get planning that mass skype chat :D xxx

Hi Emma
We look forward to getting your updates each week. Do take care, you are right not to be too trusting, there are dangerous places everywhere! Keep safe. Luv Phyll xx
Carrie
Hello my lovely. your post is wicked, it has provided a very good source of entertainment for my last 1/2hour at work. Although I have turned slightly green, I'm so jealous, it sounds like the most amazing experience. your so bubbly and confident you've literally taken china by storm. Will is actually obsessed with reading your blog, he thinks your mad and misses you maybe even a little bit more than me.
I can sympathise with not having facebook the NBT have banned it basterds, hopefully it will be returned to us shortly because we use it to promote our charity.
Sarah
Emmmma!! Loving hearing about all your news and seeing the pics! What an adventure! Missing you greatly of course, no more so than at the party when your dance moves were required! So proud of you doing so well with your teaching too. Cant wait for the next installment. Tons of love xxxx
Richard
Emma emma emma, seems you've finally met your match with George, glad theres someone out there keeping you on your toes, dont want you to become too confident what with all this English lesson success! Agreed with below, I expect you to be on the board of directors for the school by the end of the month and education minister for China by Christmas.... in all seriousness the whole shabang sounds incredible, and you're obviously doing something right (unless the head has a crush on you, which is inevitable of course)... you must be chuffed.
Hope your Mandarin has come on a bit from when we practiced in the summer, turns out my landlord for this year owned an english teaching school in Beijing and speaks fluent Mandarin, so we had a good old chat, although I held back from the sentences we learnt, dont think i would have been granted full tenancy otherwise.
Loving all the updates and the comments on kids behaviour, I had to read the wee story to my family and they loved it... although i cant help but think your a right douche with the whole phone/ keys saga. Stay safe ;)!! x
James
Wow - more adventures then. I am pleased to see you have found a friend as scatterbrained as me. That was an epic key/phone/wallet drama!
The school seem to like you, I expect you to actually BE the head teacher by the time of your next blog. Are you getting used to the workload now.
As Kathy wrote below, we had a big party for Lara and Cara at mine on the weekend. It was a rager! One of the many classic moments of the nights was the DJ flat out refusing to play my request (Justice v Simian) and saying, with utter contempt, "I don't really play that kind of music". I don't think he knew it was MY house! Xx
