Hi Girls Fantastic to be able to look at your pictures - feel so much happier now knowing that you are settled and finding your way around. Looks like you're having a ball!! Anne and I researched malaria tablets - need to take them 1 week before and for 4 weeks after some of them have very unpleasant side-affects!! National Health information line said Phuket was low risk - tablets not necessary - but if you go off the beaten track or stay somewhere dodgy then the risk increases!! Talk to other travellers and take their advice. Let me know Helen how you and Nats get on with the ear test!! Hey girls What are the plans? Jane has been checking the malarial risks as request from Helen, so I had a look too. Oh my God! Low risk of malaria in Phuket as long as you are sensible(covered skin, insect repellant, mosquito nets etc) but all the other warnings on some of these sites!!! Good job I didn't look at those before you went! Anyway, I am sure you will check everything out and stay safe whilst still having fun, obv. Lovely and wintry here. Light dusting of snow over everything. Very pretty. Well I am just about to enter Emma's Bedroom to start the tidy up job. Do I need malaria tablets for that do you think? Only joking Em!
