Hello.

As some of you already know, we have had a disapointing end to our stay in Cairns. The hostel was broken into and the entire contents of the safe were stolen. This meant that us, along with many others, have lost all of our important documents - passports, driving licences - all the important stuff.

So our final days here our being spent trying to replace some of the stuff that's been stolen - GUTTED. oh well, s*** happens.

At least we are OK, and the sun is shining, and we'll soon be off on another adventure - The Northern Territory.

G'day from a very sunny Redditch.

Ive finally finished my training course so just been catching up on yours travells. Pasted my final exams got 90% and my trainer said he can see me in a year or two going for a manager position which i was really pleased about and he has told my manager that too so i better prove myself now.

Start in the shop tomorrow abit nervious but looking forward to it at the same time. Had to buy some new work shoes this weekend from my shoe lady in brum and ended up also getting some really nice brown mules for the summer too, so spent far to much.

Anyway your pics are really good how cute are those koalas. I noticed you got the same crew as us on the whits they were really nice guys. What were the other people like who were on the boat with you?? I warned you about the sea sickness oh well still a brilliant experience one not to be missed. So now your in raining Cairns i dont think it ever stops there. Hope you enjoy the daintree and cape trib its really nice up there but make sure you put lots of insect repelent on cus im sure thats where i got all my really bad bites from.

Well hope you have a good time up there and the weather picks up for u got to go and sort out my stuff for work got to have an early night too.

Hi Guys!!

Well we survived the boat (more like - the sea sickness), and really enjoyed the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef.

We are currently on Magnetic Island, and as we go to Mission Beach next in another hostel that doesn't even have a TV, we probably won't be updating the site until we get to Cairns.

Glad you had a good boat trip, don't think i could have coped with waves as big as that. Went to Kates on sunday and was waited on all day, Jack taught me how to use the dvd and computer, not bad for a 2 year old. Not much happening this end.
