India. Is crazy.
We arrived safely to New Delhi a week ago and it's been hectic since with temples, rick-shaws, cows, dogs, people, currys, delhi-belly (of course), travels etc etc.
Huge culture shock and just getting used to it (I think...). We spend 3 days in a chaotic, dirty and smelly New Delhi. I suppose I should also add colourful, interesting and mesmerising for good mearsures. We rented a car with driver to take us to Agra and Taj Mahal and onwards to Jaipur (capital of Rajastan) and Pushkar (hindu holy city).
The driver left us yesterday and we are now on our own, seems to be working OK so far.
We're in Pushkar where there is no meat, no alcohol and no canoodling in public. It's the smallest town we have visited so far and we're really enjoying it (despite above) but we're not staying too long (because of above).
Posted some photos on the blog, more from Chris's fancy new camera to come...
Time for a chai on the rooftop to watch the sunset, we'll be back soon. Tack care everyone!!
xx Emma & Chris
