Dear all,

We've arrived back in England where we had the longest wait so far for our luggage, typical !!! Carlos's sister Nicole was waiting for us at the airport, it's great to see her. It felt weird walking round Tesco looking for food for breakfast, but I took great delight in showing off my Chole handbag !!!

We get back to Nicole's where all Carlos's family are waiting to meet us, Nicole and his Mum were fighting over who was going to cook us breakfast, Nicole won!. After breakfast we went off to his Mums where we rested ready for the next night, clubbing in London with our friends, celebrating New Year. We had a great night though we were a little jaded through jet lag, not advisable. We stayed the night at my friend Maries, it felt weird staying so near to our old house knowing we couldn't go back there as our tenants were still in.

The next few days were spent catching up with friends and family, finally the day comes for me to drive back to Stoke to surprise my parents, they still thought that we were in Australia. I was so excited on the way up, I can remember thinking I hope my Dad isn't at work. I drove into my street just as my Dad was getting into his car, thankfully he wasn't going to work, I ran up and gave him a massive hug, then I ran into the living room where I gave my Mum the shock of her life. I was shaking with excitement, it was so nice to see them again after such a long time. A lot of wine was drunk that night !!!

A few days later Carlos arrives back in Stoke where we are to begin another adventure, who knows what it's going to bring.....................
