Am currently in Bnagkok, Thailand. We flew in yesterday evening and are staying in a very lucious hostel in the centre of old Bangkok. Due to the whole political situation in Thailand we have abandoned all plans to travel there. We were due to fly out there on the 21st May, but since the day before that they started shooting at their own people, we had a little rethink. Hav limited time to fit so much in here, had written quite a bit of it and the computer just deleted it! argh! anyway I was in th middle of writing about our trek which we completed this afternoon. It was a 6 day trek in the Annapurna mountain region of Nepal. there was a lot of up and down. The npalis like to rate the trek we did as mild, but by british standards (given our small mountains in comparison) I woudl rate it as difficult! Def r...
