So glad you enjoyed NZ but can't believe you thought the people in south island were wierd. We made quite a few friends there!!! (well Tony made friends there!!).

Hope the weather is good for you in Sydney. You're going to have so much fun. We're in Santa Barbara at the moment and loving it. Off to San Diego tomorrow.

If you can include the Coogee to Bondi walk or the Watsons bay to Rose bay cliff walk. Both take over an hour but WOW. Watsons Bay have famous fish and chip restaurant and shop.

Ferry trip to Manly is always good. Brilliant views of opera house and bridge.

Matt, stay away from Paddington, you are a pretty boy and they will eat you alive!!

Good to hear from you as like others we were missing the updates. As another contact look up David & Gill Zander in the phone book as they have house in Auckland and house and boat for Marlin fishing in Russell - Bay of Islands. Old friends from London. You never know you may get an invite - at least should be plenty of fish and chips to eat. Hope you are taking the Hakka classes for when you meet the locals on your travels or even for that visit to the newsagent for a paper - a must I hear for visitors
