Don't feel that you need to carry elephant poo around the world! Its great to see all of the photos - keep them coming! Ed is REALLY enjoying being an only child and spends much of the day in meaningful conversation with his Mummy and Daddy. Love Dad

Hi, oh boy how many photos will you take, after 4 months will we need a more powerful computer to hold them all? It is great really we feel as though we are on the trip with you. Don't worry too much about the foot Emily, I had a similar reaction to a boring old European mossie in Italy. Mine was at the back of my knee, not an attractive look in shorts and a very peculiar walk!! Looking forward to the next installment, much love xxxx

While you are in elephant country don't forget to buy your mother a tub of elephant dung for the garden. Carrying it round with you until you come home will allow it to mature and be really appreciated.

Needless to say I am very jealous. elephant riding?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyway, sounds like you are having an amazing time (again grrrrr). I am suprised that emily managed a whole week without having to see a medical professional though, i'm very proud! I am looking into Chile properly now ( have got a folder planned and everything!) so will keep you informed of when we (Chris and I) will be getting there.

what a nice break in an otherwise miserable day! glad to see you are getting the better of taxi drives and having a great time. We are all fine but I'm afraid there is no news as nothing much is happening altough Alex told me last night that unless I listened to her read more she would fail her 11 plus go to a crummy school and end up working in a petrol station - its hard having the responsibility of being Alex's Mum sometimes!

Now I have the details - will keep in touch - take care both of you and carry on having a fantastic time!

Hello. We just realised that the internet cafe closes at 10 and it's half past, so don't have time to update things just yet. I have a hugely inflated foot from a bite at cabbages and condoms- am going to see a health proffessional tomorrow (lasted over a week-wehey!)

Mum and dad, the lead for the camera is in the study-i used it just before we left.

Even yhough we're in Thialand i am a little jealous about the biology field trip.

Tony told us that the grand palace was closed on the Firday so we should let him take us on the Thursday, when it was actually open on the friday. We made our own way there!

We'll update soon. Have many photos and stories to share.
