Having spent a night in Airlie Beach (a bit like the back end of Tenerife), we were looking forward to getting out and about on the boat for a few days. Again, everything closed down pretty early. On our last day in Sydney, we climbed the Harbour Bridge. All was good until we walked out onto the gangway to the bridge. You could see through it. Ahhhh! By the time we reached the ladders to the arches, Emily was grey. The actual arches themselves weren't too bad at all and the views were phenomenal. G'day!! We arrived in Oz 4 days ago, and it has been pretty much non stop since. The weather is around 25c and breezy, which is most welcome after a swetering 37c in Thailand. After a night on the tiles in Krabi, which involved several lethal Chang's in a transvestite run bar, we headed to Phi Phi Island for an overnight stay. Having arranged accomodation for the night, we booked a snorkelling trips which had the added bonus of being when the sunsets. Explored Krabi yesterday, found plenty of crabs (concrete and otherwise). Went to tiger cave forest temple, where they're building a new temple, which is going to be quite spectacular when it is completed. There is a walk way to the top of the mountain which has almost vertical ladders. Needless to say, Em stayed at the bottom and Graeme had a good go at it, although didn't quite make it to the summit.
