Received the best care package ever from mum! Had everything from chocolate to vitamins to Indian curry mix. It had already been opened by border security though, turns out Dean's much wanted rexona aerosol deodorant was poached.

Crazy week!! I have been going to school all week, mostly for teacher only days and a million staff meetings. Dean has been on the job hunt, already has had three interviews and job offers too! Watch this space! School in Japan is very VERY different! As my school is a private school it is very elitest. Went on a day trip today to Miyajima island. It's just off the coast of Hiroshima, accessible by ferry. It was a very cool little town with delicious food stalls and amazing views. The famous floating gate is there (one of the top views in Japan) as well as the very friendly deer that roam around. Fun!
